U skopu suradnje s TERENA-om CARNetovi djelatnici redovito odlaze na konferencije i sastanke Generalne skupštine (General Assembly).

Dva puta godišnje, u proljeće i jesen, sastaje se glavna skupština (General Assembly).

Can Soylu, voditelj NGO komiteta, nas je sve smjestio u različite komitete kako bi naša organizacija mogla pridonijeti rješavanju problema kojim se taj komitet bavi, npr. ja sam bila u komitetu koji se zvao Futuristic General Assembly 2020, a tema o kojoj smo raspravljali bili su načini na koji čovjek utječe na promjenu klime i genetski modificirana hrana.

Glavna skupština EuroGeographicsa; General Assembly 2012 ove godine održana je u Helsinikiju, Finska, u periodu od 2. - 5. rujna.
