Abstract According to the measures of the public-health program of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the suitability of drinking water has been shown in all public water supply systems in the period between years 2002 and 2006. The basic sensory, physically-chemical and microbiological indicators appointed by the Statutory concerning the health suitability of the drinking water have been examined.
