Susan Scott-Parker, osnivačica i izvršna direktorica Britanske organizacije Employers ' Forum on Disibility, ukazala je na važnost poboljšanja odnosa poduzeća spram zaposlenika i kupaca s invaliditetom.

Prior to the, and in the context of the current process of the adoption of the law which should aim at determining the criteria of representativity of trade unions and employers for collective bargaining, but also to settle certain disputes on the issue of the extended application of collective agreements, the starting intention of this paper was to gather general information on the validity of collective agreements concluded primarily in the area of public sector, and which at the moment of writing the paper produce relevant legal effects.

The draft proposal of the Decision on Establishing Annual Work Permit Quota for Employment of Aliens in the Republic of Croatia is based on the provision of the Article 74 of the Act on Aliens, in a way that the latter is initiated on the proposal of the Croatian Employment Service, subject to the opinion of competent ministries, while special opinions and requirements are put forward by the Croatian Employers ' Association, Croatian Chamber of Economy and Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts.

In the working paper of the Act on Representativity of Employers and Trade Unions, the proponent has ignored the essential principles of the labour law: association and organizing as freedom and right pertain to physical entity of an employee and are hence called fundamental rights, and association on a higher level is derived freedom and right.

Furthermore, the provisions of the Article 7 (1) of the Labour Code would no longer apply, which are the provisions on the right of the subjects of collective bargaining, nor the right of employers, workers and works council to agree working conditions more favourable for workers than the conditions determined by the Labour Code or any other code, which is an absurd " provision " which negates the contract as a will of subjects, brings the relations back to the time of " administrative-operative management ", negates the concept of the employment relation (collective and individual) as a contractual relation, legal relation with numerous specificities.

Posebna gošća radionice bila je gospođa Susan Scott-Parker, osnivačica i izvršna direktorica Britanske organizacije Employers ' Forum on Disibility koja je ukazala na važnost poboljšanja odnosa poduzeća spram zaposlenika i kupaca s invaliditetom, nabrojala niz prepreka na koje nailaze osobe s invaliditetom pri traženju zaposlenja te pokazala primjere dobre prakse poduzeća iz Velike Britanije.

Sastanak s predstavnicima poslovne zajednice (uključujući članice Global Compacta) održat će gospodin Paul Day, voditelj britanskog Employers ' Forum on Disability, kako bi predstavnicima hrvatskih tvrtki prenio tamošnja iskustva i znanja u zapošljavanju i radu s osobama s invaliditetom.

U potrazi za poslom 2008. istraživanje koje je provela National Association of Colleges Employers (NACE), karakteristike koje su se najviše tražile pri novim zapošljavanjima na temelju 276 poslodavaca (većinom iz sektora usluge) su bile sve personalne vještine: komunikacija, izražajna radna etika, inicijativa, interpersonalne vještine i timski rad.

In that regard we consider that the existing legislative framework presents a reasonable and compromising basis on the basis of which the employers have at their disposal legal mechanisms that enable them to exclude from the process of work a worker who does not perform the duties of his job in line with the rules of the profession and employer ' s instructions, i. e. to exclude from the process of work the worker who with his misconduct does not justify the continuation of the existence of the employment relationship.
