Prior to the, and in the context of the current process of the adoption of the law which should aim at determining the criteria of representativity of trade unions and employers for collective bargaining, but also to settle certain disputes on the issue of the extended application of collective agreements, the starting intention of this paper was to gather general information on the validity of collective agreements concluded primarily in the area of public sector, and which at the moment of writing the paper produce relevant legal effects.
