Od 28. - 31. svibnja 2010. godine zamjenik gradonačelnika Dražen Pros sudjelovao je u radu 1. Svjetskog kongresa Gradovi i prilagodba klimatskim promjenama (1 st World Congress on Cities and Adaptation to Climate Change) koji je u organizaciji međunarodnih institucija ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability i World Mayors Council on Climate Change (kojih je Grad Koprivnica aktivni član) održan u Bonnu.

Kampanja za održivu javnu nabavu pokrenuta je 2004. godine, od strane međunarodnog udruženja lokalnih samouprava, nacionalnih i regionalnih organizacija lokalnih samouprava (ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability ili Lokalne vlasti za održivost). Kampanja je nazvana Procura i njome upravlja ICLEI-ovo europskog tajništvo u Freiburgu u Njemačkoj.
