It is necessary to create new model in Croatia that will connect education and employment in an adequate way and raise awareness of employers about the capacity and working potential of persons with disabilities.

Association for Promoting Equal Opportunities to Persons with Disabilities (APEO) will work in the following year on creation of such model, but it will be needing the help and cooperation of all relevant subjects in the field of education and employment in Croatia.

Engleski naziv Udruge je Sociaty of Persons with Disabilities of Karlovac County.

The Republic of Croatia implemented the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Optional Protocol to the Convention in its national documents, and it adopted a number of laws and regulations with a view to improve and further strengthen the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, with standards attained at the global level but also all the trends which are aimed at opening up all the areas of life and work and making them more accessible to persons with disabilities.

This paper gives an overview of the situation of an extremely vulnerable category of insured persons, with identified disability inability to work.

The Act on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities sets out the rights of persons with disabilities to vocational rehabilitation, employment and work of persons with disabilities under ordinary and special terms, regulates the creation, activities and administrative and expert organs of establishments for vocational rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities, sheltered workshops and work centres, measures to promote employment of persons with disabilities, and the establishment of the Fund for Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities.

Trebalo je također reći da je za Crkvu homoseksualnost poremećaj i osoba koja ju prakticitra, ili ima u sebi duboka homoseksualna nagnuća (koja ne prakticira), ili jednostavno samo podržava tzv. homoseksualnu " kulturu " ne može ni u kojem slučaju pristupiti na bogosloviju (studij) niti primiti sakrament svetoga reda. (v) Recognizing the importance of accessibility to the physical, social, economic and cultural environment, to health and education and to information and communication, in enabling persons with disabilities to fully enjoy all human rights and fundamental freedoms,

(u) Bearing in mind that conditions of peace and security based on full respect for the purposes and principles contained in the Charter of the United Nations and observance of applicable human rights instruments are indispensable for the full protection of persons with disabilities, in particular during armed conflicts and foreign occupation,

(m) Recognizing the valued existing and potential contributions made by persons with disabilities to the overall well-being and diversity of their communities, and that the promotion of the full enjoyment by persons with disabilities of their human rights and fundamental freedoms and of full participation by persons with disabilities will result in their enhanced sense of belonging and in significant advances in the human, social and economic development of society and the eradication of poverty,

(d) Require health professionals to provide care of the same quality to persons with disabilities as to others, including on the basis of free and informed consent by, inter alia, raising awareness of the human rights, dignity, autonomy and needs of persons with disabilities through training and the promulgation of ethical standards for public and private health care;

(t) Highlighting the fact that the majority of persons with disabilities live in conditions of poverty, and in this regard recognizing the critical need to address the negative impact of poverty on persons with disabilities,

States Parties recognize the right of persons with disabilities to an adequate standard of living for themselves and their families, including adequate food, clothing and housing, and to the continuous improvement of living conditions, and shall take appropriate steps to safeguard and promote the realization of this right without discrimination on the basis of disability.

(x) Convinced that the family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State, and that persons with disabilities and their family members should receive the necessary protection and assistance to enable families to contribute towards the full and equal enjoyment of the rights of persons with disabilities,

(f) Recognizing the importance of the principles and policy guidelines contained in the World Programme of Action concerning Disabled Persons and in the Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities in influencing the promotion, formulation and evaluation of the policies, plans, programmes and actions at the national, regional and international levels to further equalize opportunities for persons with disabilities,

Uz naziv na hrvatskom jeziku može se prigodno koristiti i naziv na engleskom jeziku koji glasi: Association for Persons with Dissabilities of Krapinsko zagorske županija.

U stavku (1) članka 2. bilo bi primjerenije umjesto termina " sprječavati " koristiti termin " ometa " u skladu sa terminom korištenim u Konvenciji o pravima osoba sa invaliditetom engl. " hinder " (Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities)

Summary: A large number of various regulations that regulate the rights of persons with disability in the majority of cases are unknown to the very persons with disability, and depend on many different details such as legal status of individual persons with disability, on the determined degree of disability and the type of disability, income status or earnings, place of living, and whether it is a case of person with physical disability or of an industrial invalid.

Europska udruga davatelja usluga osobama s. invaliditetom (EASPD - European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities) organizira konferenciju pod nazivom " Socijalno uključivanje - s riječi na djela " (" Inclusion - Walking the Talk ").

Dosadašnje ime Udruga invalida Zlatar, promijenjeno je u Udrugu osoba s invaliditetom Krapinsko-zagorske županije; (engleski naziv: Association for Persons with Dissabilities of Krapinsko-zagorska županija).
