U sklopu studijskog putovanja zaštićenim područjima Hrvatske u okviru projekta UNDP/GEF (MSP) Strengthening the Ecological, Institutional and Financial sustainability of Macedonia s Protected Areas system, ugostitili smo kolege iz Makedonije i prezentirali sektor zaštite prirode tj. zaštićena područja kojima upravljamo i iskustva (dobra i loša) u upravljanju te smo organizirali kraći obilazak dijela zaštićenog područja.

Završni skup projekta CARDS-ovog Capacity Strengthening Measures for the Croatian Environment Agency održan je 21. veljače u hotelu Dubrovnik.

Ponosni smo najaviti da će se u Cavtatu, od 25. 29. svibnja 2008. g. održati 4. dvogodišnja konferencija Sustainable Management Development Programa (SMDP) Global Conference on Strengthening Public Health Management Capacity.

Jedna od takvih mjera pomoći je i program CARDS 2002 dio kojeg je i projekt Capacity Strengthening Measures for the Croatian Environment Agency (Jačanje kapaciteta Agencije za zaštitu okoliša).

Projekt Europske unije pod naslovom " Integrating and Strengthening Genomic Research in South-Eastern Europe INTEGERS " prvi je FP7 projekt u Republici Hrvatskoj i prvi FP projekt općenito na Medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu čiji je koordinator iz Republike Hrvatske.
