Nacrt prijedloga Zakona izradilo je Povjerenstvo za izradu nacrta Zakona u suradnji s radnim skupinama NIPP-a, te uz potporu dva međunarodna projekta: INSPIRATION Spatial Data Infrastructure in the Western Balkans i Service Provision for the Support to the NSDI Development.

Nadalje, najavljeno je usvajanje zaključaka Vijeća u vezi s provedbom Europskog semestra te o borbi protiv nasilja nad ženama i pružanja podrške žrtvama nasilja u obitelji (Combating Violence Against Women and the provision of Support Services for Voctims of Domestic Violence) i zaključaka o 2012. godini Europskoj godini aktivnog starenja i međugeneracijske solidarnosti (Decrlaration on the European Year for Activ Ageing and Solidarity between generations).
